Ekiti People Will Serve Me Forever Because I’m A Demigod – Fayose

The Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, made the revelation yesterday while appearing as guest on FRESH 105.9FM Ibadan, Oyo Stage.

His words:-

“I didn’t collect money for election from anybody. My father had prayed for me that if I continue to be righteous, Ekiti people will serve me forever.

I was sent from heaven as a demigod. APC is a government of ‘one chance’. Everything I’ve predicted would happen in Nigeria are happening, some have happened. Buhari can’t take Nigeria out of the woods.

Food security is better than general security, hence my ‘stomach Infrastructure’ policy. Ekiti will be in economic bondages until 2036 because of debts collected by former Governor Kayode Fayemi, so my hands are tied.”

We Are Not Detaining Dasuki Indefinitely, Says FG

Special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on prosecution, Okoi Obono-Obla, says the federal government is not detaining Sambo Dasuki, former national security adviser (NSA), indefinitely.

Obono-Obla, who said this while speaking with NAN in Abuja on Friday, explained that a media propaganda was being staged to “give the impression that the federal government has refused to release him on bail’’.

“I can assure you that nobody is detaining Dasuki indefinitely,” she said.

“There has been a lot of manipulation, media propaganda giving the impression that the federal government has refused to release him on bail.

“It is not true; what happened was that he has several charges against him. The first charge was unlawful possession of fire arms, for which he was arrested and arraigned in the federal high court.

“He was granted bail and he met the bail conditions, but before he was released, the SSS arrested him for an offence that is unrelated to that one of unlawful possession.”

Obono-Obla said the president is depending on the national prosecution coordinating committee to improve the standard of prosecuting public officers that have looted the country’s treasury.

He, however, said the anti-graft war should be seen as a collective fight, adding that the President needed the support of the judiciary, legislature and the public to succeed.
